Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has insisted that Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney should move to France if he wants to become part of the "best project in football".
The Ligue 1 leaders have signed an array of world-class players in the past 12 months that has helped them reach the Champions League quarter-finals, and Ibrahimovic has admitted that Rooney would only strengthen their growing reputation as a top European club.
The Swedish international told The Sun: "If he wants to be part of the best project in football then there is only one club to sign for.
"Only he knows the decision he is going to make in the summer, but the project we are trying to build here is clear.
"We are not content with being the dominant force in France, we want to be the top club in Europe as well. I can understand why the owners are interested in Rooney - he is in the top 10 of strikers in Europe."
The 31-year-old has scored 32 goals in 38 appearances since he move from AC Milan to Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
