Roma have reportedly won the race to sign Ajax forward Justin Kluivert.
The youngster has been strongly linked with a move away from the Eredivisie club, with Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona all said to be interested in the player.
However, earlier this week, the 19-year-old suggested that he could opt to see out the final 12 months of his contract at Ajax, rather than jump at the opportunity to move to a European giant.
On paper, Roma appeared the most unlikely destination out of the four interested teams, but according to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian giants have convinced Kluivert to move to Serie A.
The report claims that both Justin and father Patrick feel that a spell with Roma is the right move for the 19-year-old at this stage of his career.
Roma are still to agree a fee with Ajax, with it being suggested that director of football Monchi is not prepared to pay more than €15m (£13.18m).
