A report claims that Juventus have knocked back Tottenham Hotspur's opening £45m offer for Paulo Dybala as they value him closer to the £80m mark.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly fallen short with their opening offer for Juventus star Paulo Dybala.

Spurs have already broken their transfer record to bring in Tanguy Ndombele this summer and Dybala is believed to be the next player on Mauricio Pochettino's wishlist.

The Argentina international has been repeatedly linked with the Juventus exit, with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Inter Milan considered the favourites to sign him for a while.

According to La Stampa, though, Tottenham have made the first move for Dybala by tabling a £45m bid.

However, it is claimed that Juve want £80m for the 25-year-old and they are confident that an interested club will match their valuation.
