Juventus reportedly still want to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.

Juventus are reportedly still interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba before the Serie A transfer window closes at the start of September.

Real Madrid are believed to have dropped their pursuit of the 26-year-old after failing to convince United to lower their £180m asking price before the close of the English transfer window.

However, according to Calciomercato, Juve have not abandoned the idea of re-signing the France international and will push to complete a deal before the start of next month.

Both Pogba and his agent have admitted that the midfielder wants to leave the 20-time English champions after becoming disillusioned with life at Old Trafford.

However, the Red Devils, who start their Premier League season against Chelsea on Sunday, failed to sign a new central midfielder before the market slammed shut on Thursday, suggesting that a summer exit is unlikely.

The 2018 World Cup winner struggled for consistency during the 2018-19 campaign despite enjoying the best scoring season of his career, netting 16 times in all competitions for the English giants.
