Juventus are determined to beat Manchester United to the signature of Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, according to a report.

Juventus are reportedly determined to beat Manchester United to the signature of Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo during this summer's transfer window.

The 22-year-old has made 28 appearances for his Italian club during the 2021-22 campaign, contributing four goals and five assists in the process.

Zaniolo still has more than two years left to run on his contract in Rome, but there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent weeks.

A recent report claimed that Man United are keen on the Italy international, while Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in his services.

However, according to Calciomercato, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is pushing to bring Zaniolo to the Italian club during this summer's transfer window.

The report claims that the midfielder's agent has told the Old Lady that his client is yet to hold talks with Roma over a possible extension.

Zaniolo has scored 18 goals and registered 11 assists in 97 appearances for Jose Mourinho's side since joining the club from Inter Milan in July 2018.
