Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly is reportedly keen to play under Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
The 29-year-old will allegedly be allowed to leave his Italian club during this summer's transfer window if an offer in the region of £90m arrives.
City have been strongly linked with the Senegal international, while Liverpool are also believed to be keen to bring him to the Premier League ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
The Reds are thought to want Koulibaly to operate alongside Virgil van Dijk at the heart of their defence next term, but according to Mundo Deportivo, the former Metz youngster wants to play under City boss Guardiola.
The Citizens are expected to sign at least one new central defender this summer, having struggled in that area of the field during the 2019-20 campaign.
Koulibaly, who has also previously been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea, still has three years left to run on his current deal at Stadio San Paolo.
