Manchester United to offload four players to fund Jadon Sancho pursuit?

Manchester United will have to offload at least four first-team players to fund a summer move for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, according to a report.

Manchester United will reportedly have to offload at least four first-team players during this summer's transfer window to fund a big-money move for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho.

The Red Devils continue to be linked with Sancho, but BVB will allegedly refuse to sell the England international unless they receive an offer in the region of £115m.

According to The Mirror, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been told that he must 'clear the desks' in order for the club to be able to afford to sign the 20-year-old attacker.

The report claims that Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard, Andreas Pereira, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are all in danger of being sold during this summer's transfer window.

Sanchez and Smalling are currently on loan at Inter Milan and Roma respectively, while Lingard, Pereira and Jones are all out of favour at Old Trafford due to their struggles this term.

Sancho has been in excellent form for BVB during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring 20 times and providing 20 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.

The former Manchester City youngster, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool, has a contract at Signal Iduna Park until June 2022.
