Manchester United have reportedly made an improved offer worth more than £75m for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils have been long-term admirers of the 21-year-old and are understood to have already agreed personal terms on a five-year contract which would keep him at Old Trafford until 2026.
Man United's initial approach to Dortmund fell significantly short of the German club's asking price, with United seeing a bid of £67m plus £8m in add-ons turned down.
However, Sky Sports News reports that the Premier League side have now returned with an improved bid worth over £75m, which would see them pay more money up front with the rest in achievable add-ons.
Dortmund are thought to value Sancho at more than £80m, but Man United are hopeful that their latest offer will test their resolve, with all parties being open to the deal.
Sancho's current contract at Dortmund expires in 2023 and he is understood to be keen on a return to England, while Dortmund are eager to maximise the fee for the England international before his contract runs down by another year.
Sancho joined Dortmund from Manchester City's youth academy in 2017 and has gone on to score 50 goals and register 64 assists in 137 appearances for the club.
