Manchester United 'prepared to loan out Facundo Pellistri'

Manchester United are open to Facundo Pellistri leaving the club on loan this month, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly open to the idea of summer arrival Facundo Pellistri leaving the club on loan before the end of the January window.

The 19-year-old is yet to make his first-team debut for the Red Devils since arriving from Penarol in October but has been involved on eight occasions for the club's Under-23s and Under-21s.

Pellistri, who has recently been unavailable due to coronavirus, has netted three times for his new club, including twice in Premier League 2 against Southampton Under-23s and Manchester City Under-23s.

According to the Manchester Evening News, United are keen for the teenager to secure regular action at senior level as he continues his development.

As a result, the report claims that the 20-time English champions are prepared to loan him out for the second half of the 2020-21 campaign.

Pellistri, who largely operates as a right-sided attacker, scored twice and registered four assists in 37 appearances for Penarol before moving to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side last year.
