Manchester United are reportedly 'pressing' to sign Franck Kessie, with the Red Devils determined to bring the AC Milan midfielder to Old Trafford in 2022.
The 24-year-old's future remains the subject of much speculation, with his contract at San Siro due to expire next June, and there has still not been an announcement on a fresh deal.
A number of clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, are believed to be interested in signing the Ivory Coast international.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Man United are now firmly in the race for the midfielder, and the 20-time English champions are 'pressing' to bring him to the club.
The Red Devils, as it stands, would be free to discuss a pre-contract with Kessie in January, although they would have to agree a fee with Milan in order to sign him at the start of 2022.
The Ivorian enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign for his Italian side, scoring 14 times and registering six assists in 50 appearances in all competitions.
