Manchester United have reportedly had a £95m bid for centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly rejected by Napoli.
A disappointing 2018-19 Premier League campaign saw the Red Devils finish sixth, which is expected to lead to a busy summer transfer window.
Head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be determined to sign at least one new central defender and Koulibaly has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for some time.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, United put an offer of £95m on the table, but Napoli rejected the bid as they are seemingly unwilling to sell the former Metz youngster for less than his £110m release clause.
Koulibaly, who arrived in Naples from Genk in the summer of 2014, has scored twice in 48 appearances for Napoli during the 2018-19 campaign.
