Raphael Varane's move from Real Madrid to Manchester United has reportedly not yet been officially announced by the 20-time English champions due to image rights.
The Red Devils confirmed at the end of July that they had reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of the France international, who could end up costing the English side in the region of £42m.
Varane is believed to have undergone a medical and signed personal terms with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, but there has still not been an announcement, meaning that is unlikely that he will be able to feature in Saturday's Premier League clash with Leeds United.
According to Sport Witness, the delay has been due to issues over image rights, but there is no threat to the deal, with the situation to be sorted 'in the coming days or sooner'.
The 28-year-old, who was forced to quarantine upon his arrival from Spain earlier this month, represented France at this summer's European Championship.
If the World Cup winner is unable to make his debut against Leeds this weekend than his first outing for Solskjaer's side could come against Southampton in the Premier League on August 22.
