Manchester United are reportedly confident about the prospect of keeping Paul Pogba on the books at Old Trafford beyond the summer.
The midfielder's agent Mino Raiola sent shockwaves through the footballing world by claiming that his client's time at Old Trafford was "over", just a few hours before United were knocked out of the Champions League to RB Leipzig.
However, the former Juventus man has since forced his way back into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's starting lineup and has scored decisive goals against Burnley and Fulham in recent weeks.
According to The Mirror, the powers-that-be at Old Trafford are optimistic that the World Cup-winning Frenchman could stay in Manchester for the 2021-22 season and beyond.
The report also claims that a contract extension is not out of the equation either, and Pogba supposedly believes that he will have plenty of opportunities to win silverware at Old Trafford, with United currently top of the Premier League table.
The 27-year-old's current deal with Man United will expire in 18 months' time.
