Manchester United 'prepare £100m Angel Di Maria deal'

Manchester United are reportedly planning a bid of £50m to land Angel Di Maria.

Manchester United are readying a £100m package to bring Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria to the club, according to a report.

The Argentine has been linked with a move to Old Trafford all summer, despite being a crucial player for his club as they won the Champions League last season.

He has been a regular starter since joining Madrid in 2010 from Benfica, but the recent arrivals of James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos could affect his playing time.

According to the Daily Mail, United are planning a £50m bid for the winger and they will offer him a wage of £200,000 a week.

Di Maria has scored 36 goals in 189 games for Madrid.
