Manchester United reportedly view finalising new deals with Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Mason Greenwood as one of their top priorities.

The Red Devils have worked extensively over the last 12 months to extend the contracts of their most important players, with Victor Lindelof and David de Gea the latest to join the list to have agreed new terms, which also includes Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay.

With the deals for Lindelof and De Gea now secured, the Evening Standard reports that United are now planning to escalate their talks with Pogba, Lingard and Greenwood.

Young striker Greenwood, who is expected to start against Astana in the Europa League, only signed professional terms with the Reds last October but the club want to offer him an improved deal to ward off any potential European suitors.

Lingard, who has not scored a goal or registered an assist since last December, is currently halfway through the four-year contract he signed in 2017, while United want Pogba to commit his long-term future to the club.

The Frenchman's deal expires at the end of the 2020-21 season, with United retaining the option to trigger a one-year extension, but his repeated links with Real Madrid have led Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's backroom team to prioritise their negotiations with the academy product.
