Jadon Sancho does not have the support of his Manchester United teammates in his war of words with head coach Erik ten Hag, according to a report.

Jadon Sancho reportedly does not have the support of his Manchester United teammates in his war of words with Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag.

The 23-year-old was left out of the squad to face Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, with Ten Hag claiming that the attacker's training performances had not been of the required standard.

Sancho hit back at his manager on social media, which has created a tense situation at Old Trafford.

The England international was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia ahead of their transfer deadline, but the Saudi Pro League window is now closed, meaning that the forward is set to remain with the 20-time English champions until at least the January transfer window.

According to ESPN, there is not much sympathy for Sancho among his teammates, with a source telling the website that "the players have had enough of him".

The report claims that there is a general feeling among the players and the coaching staff that Sancho could be giving more, while his 'demeanour around the club' has worsened the situation.

Sancho was absent for a lengthy period towards the end of last year due to some personal issues, and Ten Hag is believed to feel let down by the forward, having supported him through a difficult spell.

There were some suggestions that the former Manchester City youngster could start this season in the false nine position, having impressed in that area during pre-season.

However, Sancho only featured off the bench against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest before being left out entirely against Arsenal.

There now seems little prospect of the attacker being introduced back into the squad for the team's next Premier League game against Brighton & Hove Albion on September 16.

Sancho has found it difficult to impress for Man United since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021, only managing 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances.

The forward could allegedly be made to train away from the first team in the coming weeks depending on how the situation develops with Ten Hag.

The Red Devils were thought to be willing to let Sancho leave for the right price over the summer, while Bayern Munich are believed to be keeping a close eye on the situation with a view to potentially making a move when the January transfer window opens for business.
