Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly decided to hand an opportunity to midfielder Andreas Pereira.
At the start of last season, Pereira was loaned out to Granada and the Brazilian went on to net five goals in 35 appearances for the La Liga outfit.
The 21-year-old had been expected to go back out on loan but according to The Sun, Mourinho has been impressed with his contribution during pre-season.
That has led to the Portuguese boss opting to give Pereira - who has made just five substitute outings in the Premier League - a chance to make an impression with the first team during the first half of the season.
Pereira has previously stated that he was keen to fight for a place at the English giants after failing to make an impact when joining the club in 2014 when Louis van Gaal was in charge.
Mourinho is still keen on making two high-profile additions before the end of the transfer window, with Nemanja Matic likely to complete a move to Old Trafford in the coming days.
