"No truth" in Alessio Cerci Premier League links

Torino president Urbano Cairo insists that there is "no truth" in rumours linking winger Alessio Cerci with a move to Manchester United.

Torino president Urbano Cairo has insisted that reported Premier League target Alessio Cerci will remain with the Italian club until at least the end of the season.

Manchester United manager David Moyes is believed to be considering a January bid for the goalscoring winger, who has found the net eight times in Serie A this season.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are also reportedly interested in the 26-year-old, but Cairo is not worried by the speculation as he is adamant that Cerci will stay with Torino beyond the next transfer window.

"I haven't received any calls from England for Cerci, even if I read in the newspapers that there is interest from British clubs," Cairo told TMW.

"As far as I am concerned, there's no truth to it. Will he stay at Torino in January? Of course!"

Moyes is said to be searching for fresh options on the flanks, with Wilfried Zaha poised to go out on loan and Ashley Young and Nani's Old Trafford futures seemingly uncertain.
