Former Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung is expecting the club to make signings this January as they look to improve on their start to the season.

Former Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung has said that he expects the club to make signings during the January transfer window.

United are currently four points adrift of the top four and have been linked with a deal for Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland.

Speaking to BT Sport after the Europa League draw, Park said: "It depends on the January transfers, it depends on what the manager wants and what the club can produce.

"There will be signings, but it doesn't matter how many we get, more important is how the team can progress."

The former South Korea international is now an ambassador for the club, having played for the Red Devils between 2005 and 2012.

United face Colchester United in the quarter-final of the EFL Cup this Wednesday, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to take a step towards his first trophy as boss at the Old Trafford club.
