Facundo Pellistri is open to a potential exit from Manchester United this summer, following his loan move to Granada late in January.

Facundo Pellistri has left the door open for a possible permanent exit from Manchester United this summer.

The 22-year-old joined Granada on loan late in the January transfer window after struggling for game time at Old Trafford this season.

Pellistri has already had two loan stints at Alaves in La Liga since joining from Penarol almost four years ago, and has made just 24 appearances across all competitions for the Red Devils since his arrival.

Speaking to ESPN, the winger has stressed the importance of him getting regular game time to advance his career.

"The whole time I was in Manchester was incredible, the experiences I had, I shared with the best players in the world and I was able to play many important games." Pellistri revealed.

"Today I am in a stage of looking for more minutes, I am very happy with the opportunity and with how things are going, and when the time comes I will put everything on the scale and see what to do."

The Uruguayan has become something of a regular for his national side, but may see that come under threat unless he continues to play regularly at club level.

Pellistri has made a fine start to life at Granada, starting all three games since his arrival, as well recording a goal and an assist away to Barcelona.

Adding more fuel to the fire that Pellistri may leave Man United were comments made by his agent Edgardo Lasalvia recently, in which he blasted Erik ten Hag over his treatment of the player.

Lasalvia told Sport 890: "Whether he returns to Manchester in the middle of the year will depend on the performance he shows. If Ten Hag continues, it's going to be difficult. Ten Hag hasn't used him, valued him, or treated him like a professional,"

Despite modest attacking returns from the likes of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony, Pellistri was still rarely given a chance at Old Trafford by the Dutch manager.

Antony is still yet to score or assist in 20 Premier League games this season, while Rashford and Garnacho have just five goals apiece.

With the arrival of Jim Ratcliffe overseeing the footballing operations at the club, rumours have emerged that Ten Hag's job could be under threat at the end of the season.

In addition to a potential managerial change, there may also be an overhaul of the playing squad, with many players on big wages likely to move on.

Whether Pellistri is to be given a new lease of life at Man United, or be one of the players they look to move on is unknown, but his performances at Granada for the rest of the season may play a part in that.
