Report: Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United lead chase for Karim Benzema

Reports suggest that Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are plotting January moves for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.

Chelsea are reportedly facing competition from Manchester United and Arsenal for the signature of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.

Reports suggest that the Frenchman has been told that he can leave the Bernabeu if the right offer is made in January.

According to The Mirror, Los Blancos are looking to bank at least £17m for the 25-year-old, which is £8m less than what they paid Lyon in 2009.

The Blues had already been linked with a move to Chelsea after being alerted to his potential availability this winter.

However, their Premier League rivals are believed to have joined them in the hunt for the France international, who has scored four goals in nine games this season.
