Marcus Rashford, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson sign new Manchester United deals

Teenagers Marcus Rashford and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson both sign new Manchester United contracts until 2020.

Marcus Rashford and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson have both signed new long-term Manchester United contracts until 2020.

Rashford, 18, burst onto the scene at Old Trafford in the second half of the season and scored eight times in 17 first-team appearances after making his debut against FC Midtjylland in the Europa League.

The teenager's form earned him a spot in Roy Hodgson's provisional England squad for Euro 2016 and the striker netted just three minutes into his international debut against Australia on Friday night.

Rashford has penned a new contract until at least 2020, which has the option to run for an additional year.

"I am delighted to have signed a new contract. I have always been a Manchester United fan, so to be playing in the first team really is a dream come true. I am grateful for having the chance to prove myself. To be able to play football at the biggest club in the world means everything to me and my family," Rashford told the club's official website.

Meanwhile, Borthwick-Jackson, who made 14 first-team appearances last season, has also signed an extension until 2020.

"I have grown up at United and have enjoyed every minute of being here. Last season was an incredible experience to make my first-team debut and a dream come true for myself and my family," the 19-year-old told the club's website.

"I feel it stands me in good stead for continuing my development as a Manchester United player. I will continue to work hard and take advice from the manager and his coaching team to improve with every training session."

Borthwick-Jackson's previous deal had been due to expire this summer.
