Barcelona have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign Atletico Madrid centre-back Miranda this summer.
United are believed to have submitted a £24m bid for the Brazilian, with the Premier League outfit confident that a deal is already in place.
However, according to Marca, Barcelona are still firmly in the race for the defender.
While Atletico are not keen to lose one of their key players, a sale would produce a hefty profit for a player that joined on a free transfer in 2011.
Miranda has not travelled with the Brazil squad for the World Cup this summer.
