Report: David de Gea open to Real Madrid move

A report claims that Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is open to joining Real Madrid in the future as Los Blancos weigh up the future of Iker Casillas.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is reportedly open to the possibility of joining Real Madrid in the future.

The Spaniard has developed into one of the best stoppers in Europe over the last 12 months following a shaky start to his United career.

It is understood that the 23-year-old is extremely happy in England, but interest from Real Madrid would turn his head, according to Marca.

Los Blancos have been linked with a move for the stopper in recent days, with Iker Casillas seemingly on his way out.

De Gea started his youth career with Atletico Madrid, progressing through the ranks at the Spanish club before making his debut in 2009.
