In-demand teenage defender Jose Gaya has reportedly rejected the chance to sign a new long-term deal with Valencia.
Valencia have thus far remained confident that the 19-year-old, who came through the Los Che youth system, would commit his future to the club by signing a new long-term deal until 2021.
However, according to reports in Spain, Gaya has rejected the new and improved offer amid interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United.
As it stands, Gaya, who has made 29 appearances for Valencia this season, has a release clause in the region of £15m.
