Report: Manchester United to move for Real Madrid's Raphael Varane

A report claims that Manchester United will move for Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane at the end of the season.

Manchester United will reportedly attempt to entice Raphael Varane from Real Madrid at the end of the season.

The French centre-back turned down Man United to join Real from Lens in 2011 and is fast closing on 100 La Liga appearances for his Spanish club, 32 of which have come this season.

However, the 23-year-old has been overlooked for the bigger matches and was left on the bench for both legs of the Champions League semi-final against Manchester City.

Various reports have claimed that Varane is becoming frustrated with his lack of action, and according to le10sport.com, Man United will launch a bid in this summer's transfer window.

The centre-back has already earned 28 caps for Euro 2016 hosts France.
