David Moyes will reportedly attempt to bring Manchester United striker Will Keane to Sunderland this summer.
Moyes was appointed the Black Cats' new manager on Saturday and it is understood that the Scot has been promised funds to improve the squad in this summer's transfer window.
According to The Sun, the 53-year-old will attempt to raid his former club for Keane, who is believed to be prepared to quit Old Trafford this summer in search of regular football.
The 23-year-old is currently on Man United's pre-season tour of China and also played the first game of Jose Mourinho's tenure against Wigan Athletic last weekend.
The forward is unlikely to be part of Mourinho's plans for the new season, however, and it is understood that £6.5m would be enough to convince the Portuguese to part with the former England Under-21 international.
Keane has been with Man United since 2007, but has only made two Premier League appearances for the Red Devils, spending time out on loan with Wigan Athletic, Queens Park Rangers, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End.
