Real Madrid have reportedly decided to give Cristiano Ronaldo a wage packet of £600,000 per week.
During the first half of the season, Ronaldo netted just four times in La Liga and has continued to be linked with a move to either Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain.
However, according to Corriere dello Sport, Real remain eager to keep Ronaldo at the Bernabeu and are prepared to put his wages on a par with Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar.
The 32-year-old still has four and a half years remaining on his existing lucrative deal, but Real hope that their commitment to the Portuguese star will convince their main man to stay in Spain's capital.
Real currently sit 14 points adrift of leaders Barcelona in La Liga.
