Manchester United have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet this summer.
The 22-year-old has made a name for himself at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan since joining from Nancy in January 2017, making 68 appearances in all competitions.
Meanwhile, United boss Jose Mourinho is believed to be seeking reinforcements at centre-back in the off-season given the indifferent performances from his current crop.
According to The Sun, the Red Devils have put Lenglet on their shortlist but will face competition from Liverpool and Barcelona for the Frenchman's signature.
The report claims that United were impressed with Lenglet's performance in Sevilla's Champions League victory at Old Trafford in March and have dispatched scouts to monitor his performances.
Mourinho is also rumoured to be interested in Leicester City's Harry Maguire, Barcelona's Samuel Umtiti and Swansea City's Alfie Mawson.
