Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that Donny van de Beek will be remaining at Manchester United for the 2021-22 campaign.
The Netherlands international endured a tough first year at Old Trafford, making just eight starts in the Premier League, Champions League and Europa League.
Speculation persists regarding the 24-year-old's future, with teams from the Premier League and abroad said to hold an interest.
However, Solskjaer has spoken about Van de Beek scoring in front of a packed Theatre of Dreams, an indication that the playmaker remains in his plans.
The Norwegian is quoted by The Metro as saying: "You've not experienced Manchester United until you've scored in front of the Stretford End.
"Of course, Edinson [Cavani] scored in front of some of them, and they've both scored in that end, but now, when it's a full stadium, it will be different for the two of them. Manchester United with and without fans are two different things. To be reunited with them will be top."
Van de Beek has spent the summer recuperating from an injury which forced him to withdraw from his nation's Euro 2020 squad.
