Donny van de Beek has reportedly not been mentioned by either Manchester United or Real Madrid as a part of a potential swap deal for Raphael Varane.
The Red Devils are believed to be keen to sign Varane during this summer's transfer window, and a recent report claimed that Los Blancos wanted Van de Beek in part-exchange.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Netherlands international has not been discussed by either club as a potential part of the agreement.
The 24-year-old made 36 appearances for the 20-time English champions during the 2020-21 campaign, having arrived from Ajax last September.
The Dutchman largely found it difficult to make his mark for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, though, and has been linked with a move away over the last few months.
Romano has also claimed that Man United are yet to make an official bid for Varane despite approaching Real Madrid to register their interest in the France international.
