Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly plotting a £20m swoop for Southampton forward Danny Ings.
The ex-Liverpool man is believed to have turned down the Saints' offer of a new deal, and he is now in the final year of his contract with Ralph Hasenhuttl's side.
Ings is thought to be keen to secure a move to a European-competing club, which has led to links with Manchester City as they seek to replace Sergio Aguero.
However, The Telegraph claims that new Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo has earmarked Ings as an ideal attacking target, with uncertainty still hanging over the head of City-linked Harry Kane.
The report adds that Nuno is planning to switch Tottenham's system to play with two recognised strikers, and he is keen to line up with Kane and Ings alongside each other.
The 28-year-old - who has also been linked with Manchester United - boasts 46 goals and 10 assists from 100 games in a Southampton shirt.
