Manchester United have reportedly moved to the brink of signing Barcelona youngster Nico Gonzalez.
Gonzalez is regarded as one for the future by Barcelona but it appears that United are ready to tempt the 16-year-old into a move to Old Trafford.
According to Diario Sport, a deal could be pushed through by the Premier League giants, with Gonzalez's father Fran currently at neighbours Manchester City.
The pair also hold a strong relationship with United scout David Harrison - previously of City - and it looks likely that the trio will be all working in the North-West of England.
City have previously failed in a bid to sign Nico, soon after the arrival of Pep Guardiola.
