Manchester United 'renegotiate £43m Radamel Falcao fee'

Manchester United want to renegotiate their £43m deal for Radamel Falcao with Monaco, according to reports.

Manchester United will reportedly try to renegotiate the £43m fee they agreed to pay AS Monaco for Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian joined the Red Devils on a season-long loan with the option of a permanent deal at the end of the current campaign, but has struggled to find his goal-scoring touch in the Premier League.

According to The Telegraph, Falcao still has to prove his worth to United, who are paying the former Atletico Madrid forward £265,000 a week as part of the initial agreement.

It is thought that despite his agent Jorge Mendes suggesting that Falcao will be inundated with offers from rival clubs across Europe, the frontman may struggle to attract the calibre of team to match the Old Trafford outfit.

While Mendes is expected to be unhappy with the prospect of discussing a lesser deal for his client, his options may be limited due to Falcao's form.

Falcao featured for United in their 2-0 victory at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
