Arsenal striker Robin van Persie reportedly decides to join Manchester City instead of choosing big-money deals with Juventus or Manchester United.

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has reportedly set his sights on moving to Manchester City this summer, despite interest from Juventus and Manchester United.

Reports emerged yesterday claiming that the Gunners have received offers from all three clubs, with Juventus thought to have offered the Dutchman £300,000 a week.

It is understood that while United have hatched out a £175,000-a-week package, Van Persie would prefer to make the switch to the Etihad Stadium, which would see the forward earn up to £250,000 per week, according to the Daily Star.

It is thought that Van Persie wants to stay in the top flight of English football but reports have claimed that the frontman's advisers are attempting to convince him to choose United over the Premier League champions.
