Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has announced that he has hired Mino Raiola as his new agent, sparking reported interest from Manchester United.
The Italy international is unhappy at the Parc des Princes and recently admitted to being open to joining Barcelona, who have since been priced out of a move for the £88m-rated player.
Verratti has now dumped representative Donato Di Campli and recruited Raiola in his place - the man responsible for pushing through recent moves to Old Trafford for Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
According to The Sun, the Red Devils have shown an interest as they are keen to strengthen in central midfield this summer, having been frustrated in their attempts to land Eric Dier or Nemanja Matic.
Former Pescara ace Verratti recently had to apologise to his current club for accusing them of 'treating him like a prisoner'.
