Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirms exit from Paris Saint-Germain

Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals that he plans to call time on his four-year spell at Paris Saint-Germain once his deal runs out in the summer.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he intends to leave the club at the end of the season once his current contract expires.

The Sweden international, who has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes in the past, is thought to be a target for Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United among others.

Ibrahimovic has previously hinted that he would wait until the end of the current campaign to re-evaluate his future but, on the back of scoring four more goals in the rout of Troyes, the 34-year-old admits that he will now likely depart for pastures new.

"For the moment, I will not be at PSG next season. I still have a month-and-a-half left here," he told beIN Sports, before joking: "If they replace the Eiffel Tower with a statue of me, then I will stay."

Ibrahimovic's four-goal showing on Sunday afternoon, which included a 10-minute hat-trick, helped PSG on their way to an emphatic 9-0 victory to wrap up the Ligue 1 title.

The French top flight's leading goalscorer is also said to be tempted by a move to the MLS for his career swansong, having previously featured for the likes of AC Milan, Barcelona and Ajax.
