Former Hull City midfielder Robert Koren moves to Melbourne City on a two-year contract.

Former Hull City midfielder Robert Koren has joined Melbourne City on a two-year deal.

The 33-year-old Slovenian was released by Hull at the end of last season following a four-year spell at the KC Stadium.

"Robert is someone who we feel can add something extra to the team and can help us get to the next level," Melbourne coach John van 't Schip told the club's official website.

"He is a team player who we believe will contribute well and help our entire squad reach their full potential and help deliver results."

Koren scored three goals in 26 games for Hull during the 2013-14 campaign.
