Preview: Middlesbrough vs. Fulham

Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between Fulham and Middlesbrough in the Championship this weekend.

Fulham will be hoping to maintain their recent run of success when they travel to Middlesbrough in the Championship this weekend.

Following Felix Magath's dismissal last month, the Cottagers have won back-to-back matches in the league, moving them off the bottom of the table and up to 22nd.

Caretaker boss Kit Symons named an unchanged starting lineup for the team's 4-0 win over Bolton Wanderers earlier this week, and with no new injury concerns could stick with the same XI for the trip to the Riverside.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough are unbeaten in their last five outings, but have drawn the last two to leave them eighth in the table.

Aitor Karanka's side were held to a 1-1 draw by Blackpool earlier this week, leaving them with back-to-back stalemates following a run of three wins in a row last month.

Albert Adomah will be available again after serving a one-match suspension for picking up a red card last weekend, forcing him to sit out the match against Blackpool.

The home side should also be boosted by the return of Adam Clayton after he was forced off just 30 minutes into their last outing with illness.

This will be the first time that these two sides have played since the 2008-09 season, when Fulham won at home before sharing a goalless draw with Boro at the Riverside.
