Sports Mole previews Middlesbrough's Championship clash against Bolton Wanderers this weekend.

Middlesbrough host Bolton Wanderers just days after the away side appointed new manager Dougie Freedman.

The Scotsman, who has replaced sacked Owen Coyle at the Reebok Stadium, is unlikely to be in the dugout for this Saturday's match, with caretaker boss Jimmy Phillips expected to take charge of the team before Freedman takes over next week.

Middlesbrough will hope to stretch their winning run to four matches this weekend and move towards the top two of the Championship table, while Bolton linger in 16th position.

Marvin Emnes and Ishmael Miller are expected to lead the line for the home team, while the Trotters could have Jay Spearing and Mark Davies in midfield.

Recent form:

Middlesbrough: LDWWW

Bolton: LDLWD

Possible starting lineups:

Middlesbrough: Steele; Parnaby, Hines, Bikey-Amougou, Friend; Haroun, Leadbitter, McEachran, Reach; Miller, Emnes

Bolton: Bogdan; Mears, Mills, Ream, Warnock; Eagles, Spearing, Davies, Petrov; Davies, N'Gog

Sports Mole says: 1-0
