Middlesbrough look to continue their strong start to the season against a Leicester City side looking for their first away points of the season.

Middlesbrough and Leicester City both go in search of a third successive win in all competitions this weekend in a battle between two promotion candidates.

Tony Mowbray made 11 changes for Boro's midweek Capital One Cup win against Preston North End, and will look to return to the team that beat Blackburn Rovers last weekend.

Mowbray will be without Mustapha Carayol, with the striker facing four months out with a knee injury.

Leicester boss Nigel Pearson will be desperate to improve his side's away form with a result at the Riverside Stadium.

The Foxes have lost all three of their matches away from the King Power Stadium so far this season.

Recent form:

Middlesbrough: LWLWW
Leicester City: LWLWW

Possible lineups:

Middlesbrough: Steele, Hoyte, Amougou, Friend, Woodgate, Leadbitter, Thomson, McEachran, Emnes, Jutkiewicz, Zemmama

Leicester: Schmeichel, De Laet, Konchesky, Morgan, St Ledger, Drinkwater, Marshall, James, Knockaer, Vardy, Nugent
