Ian Holloway wants Millwall belief

Millwall boss Ian Holloway tells his side that they need to find "confidence and belief" if they are to move out of the Championship relegation zone.

Millwall manager Ian Holloway has told his side that they need to find "confidence and belief" if they are to improve their fortunes in the Championship.

The Lions, who have lost their last five league games, are currently in the relegation zone, three points adrift of safety.

Holloway hopes that the changes he has made in the past few weeks will stand the team in good stead.

"We have been working our new players into the group to help us play as a team," he told Millwall's official website.

"My job is to build a better and stronger Millwall and that is what I intend to do. We have had to bring forward what we planned to do in the summer in terms of changing the squad around a bit to give us that fresh impetus.

"I've had a bit of time in training to gel this team together and get across what I want. We need to discover that mindset of confidence and belief in what we do."

Millwall host Reading at The Den this evening.
