Rangers 4-1 Montrose

Dean Shiels, Lewis MacLeod, Lee McCulloch and Robbie Crawford score the goals as Rangers thrash Montrose at Ibrox.

Rangers maintained their 100% home record in the Scottish Third Division with a emphatic win over Montrose this afternoon.

The hosts went ahead on 27 minutes through Dean Shiels, however they were pegged back when Anestis Argyriou put into his own goal eight minutes later.

Rangers were back ahead 10 minutes after the break, Lewis MacLeod scoring his first goal for the club with a fantastic turn and finish.

Lee McCulloch extended the lead on the hour mark before Robbie Crawford, who had only been on the pitch for three minutes, completed the rout eight minutes from time.

Rangers now sit second in the table, one point behind Queen's Park.
