Scottish Premier League champions Celtic are reportedly preparing a move for Scotland international James McFadden.
The 28-year-old, who has formerly played for Everton and Birmingham City, is available on a free transfer after leaving Motherwell at the end of last season.
The attacker scored five goals in 13 games for Motherwell in 2012-13, with his performances attracting the interest of Celtic boss Neil Lennon, according to Sky Sports News.
A number of English clubs are also believed to be in the market for the versatile attacker.
