Juventus hold a slender 1-0 lead over Napoli at the break in tonight's Supercoppa Italiana in Doha.
The Serie A champions took the lead with just five minutes played when Carlos Tevez capitalised on some poor defending before racing clear and firing past goalkeeper Rafael Cabral.
Napoli fought back soon after, and they nearly equalised on 17 minutes as Marek Hamsik's deflected drive came back off the post.
However, Tevez remained a constant threat at the other end for Juve, with the striker being denied twice by Rafael midway through the half.
The Argentine had a stinging half-volley tipped away on 22 minutes before seeing his low drive also kept out by Napoli's shot-stopper moments later.
Chances for both sides came at the end of what was an entertaining half, but Stephan Lichtsteiner's effort from a difficult angle was saved by the busy Rafael before Jose Callejon had his shot punched clear by Gianluigi Buffon.
