Off the back of a first defeat in five matches last time out, NEC entertain the challenge of AZ Alkmaar at Stadion de Goffert on Sunday afternoon.
The away side, on the other hand, will be looking to exact revenge on their hosts following a 2-1 defeat in this season's reverse meeting.
We say: NEC 1-1 AZ Alkmaar
Both teams boast similar attacking records heading into this one so we expect neither of them to come away with a clean sheet. We are also backing a share of the spoils come the end of the 90 minutes.

Round 31 of the 2023-24 Eredivisie season sees PEC Zwolle and Heracles face off against each other at the MAC3PARK Station on Sunday morning.
Both teams are separated only on goal difference in the league standings heading into this weekend's clash which should be a keenly-contested affair.
We say: PEC Zwolle 1-2 Heracles
As shown by their respective league standings, there is little separating the teams and this weekend's clash could easily swing either way. That said, we are backing the away side to get the job done, albeit by only a narrow margin.

Sparta vs. Volendam (Sunday, 1.30pm)

Ninth-placed Sparta Rotterdam host 17th-placed FC Volendam on Sunday at the Sparta Stadion in the Eredivisie.
The home side have 40 points, just two points shy of a potential place in the Conference League, while visitors Volendam are second from bottom, 21 points behind Sparta Rotterdam, and at serious risk of automatic relegation with four games remaining.
We say: Sparta Rotterdam 4-1 FC Volendam
Although Sparta Rotterdam's home record is far from perfect, they should come into the game buoyed by their good form.
Additionally, the defensive frailties of Volendam cannot be ignored, and considering that they have several absentees, it is feasible that Sparta could hamper any remaining hope that Volendam have of Eredivisie survival.

RKC Waalwijk vs. Utrecht (Sunday, 1.30pm)

RKC Waalwijk host FC Utrecht at the Mandemakers Stadion on Sunday in what could prove a vital game for both sides and their respective goals.
Residing in 16th on 24 points, Waalwijk occupy the Eredivisie's relegation playoff spot, but are only two points behind 15th-placed Excelsior with a game in hand.
As for Utrecht, they will hope to solidify their place in seventh as they bid to secure a Conference League playoff spot.
We say: RKC Waalwijk 1-3 FC Utrecht
Given Waalwijk are capable defensively, and that manager Fraser will be keen to impress, the game at the Mandemakers Stadion could prove difficult for Utrecht.
However, Utrecht's strong form cannot be ignored, and though Waalwijk might frustrate them at times, the gap in quality could help the away side to overcome their hosts.

Vitesse vs. Sittard (Sunday, 3.45pm)

Vitesse will welcome Fortuna Sittard to Gelredome on Sunday as the Eredivisie run-in continues to heat up.
While the hosts have already confirmed their relegation, the visitors continue to fight to secure a top-eight finish.
We say: Vitesse 0-3 Fortuna Sittard
It has been a season to forget for Vitesse, and considering they are already relegated there is very little for them to fight for in this particular match.
While the visitors still have plenty to play for with a potential European position on the line they will be expected to take three points.
