Newcastle United's Gabriel Obertan 'out for four months following injury setback'

Newcastle United winger Gabriel Obertan is reportedly ruled out for four months with a hamstring injury.

Newcastle United winger Gabriel Obertan is reportedly expected to be out of action for the next four months after suffering a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury.

The 26-year-old, who was initially ruled out in September after damaging his hamstring in training, played a part in five of the Magpies' first seven games of the campaign.

However, according to The Northern Echo, Obertan, who joined Newcastle from Manchester United in 2011, will not play again in 2015 as he has suffered a setback.

The winger's contract expires in the summer.
