Newcastle striker Papiss Cisse believes that a top-four finish would be a major achievement for the club, but that it is a very real possibility.

Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse has expressed his belief that a top-four finish is still a possibility for the club.

The Magpies are currently level on points with fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur with five games left, thanks largely to the recent goalscoring exploits of Cisse.

Now, the Senegal international believes that the dream of securing a Champions League place could become a reality, and that it would be a major achievement should it happen.

"We have got five matches left and we have to work really, really hard in the week so we are ready for the weekend, and then we will see if we can get there," said Cisse.

"We have only got five matches left, so we are going to take it match by match.

"But we have really got momentum behind us, so I still think we can do something really extraordinary."

Since joining Newcastle in January, Cisse has taken the Premier League by storm, scoring 10 goals in his nine league games so far.
