Team News: Seven changes for Newcastle United

Of the XI that started Newcastle United's 1-0 win over Metalist Kharkiv, only Fabricio Coloccini, Yohan Cabaye, Papiss Cisse and Moussa Sissoko keep their places for today's visit of Southampton.

Just four Newcastle United players who began the Magpies' 1-0 win over Metalist Kharkiv on Thursday evening have been named in the starting XI for today's Premier League clash with Southampton.

Fabricio Coloccini, Yohan Cabaye, Papiss Cisse and Moussa Sissoko keep their places in the team, while Rob Elliot replaces injured goalkeeper Tim Krul.

Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino makes two changes to the team that beat Manchester City 15 days ago.

Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw return in place of Danny Fox and Jason Puncheon.
