Newcastle United have secured their first signing of the summer in the form of French teenager Olivier Kemen.
The Premier League outfit have been linked with the France Under-17 international over the last few weeks.
Following Kemen's comments that he wanted to move from Metz to St James' Park, the North-East club have confirmed that the 16-year-old has officially become a Newcastle player.
Kemen is the first player that has arrived at the club since Joe Kinnear was appointed as director of football.
Previous reports claimed that Kemen was expected to sign a four-year contract.
